This was built in a location that was an empty lot in 1908. While a fairly standard fenced lot with a tin clad wooden stage at the rear, this was unusual in that it was built over the long-vanished Bull Creek, which once ran through the east side of town. The Air Dome was opened in 1910 by a partnership of John Blake, P.R. Smith and M.P. Conway. Although this airdome appears on the 1913 Sanborn, it was closed on August 31, 1912.
This lot was sold for a theater that was never constructed, and the remains were demolished in 1915. The 1923 map shows a small filling station on this corner. The current structure is a rather ratty gas station that appears to be from roughly 1960.

This Airdome was built in 1910 by John Blake, P.R. Smith and M.P. Conway opposite the Post Office. It opened May 9, 1910 with live programming from the Henderson Stock Company. It was the first of three seasons for the operation. It closed on August 31, 1912 with a live performance by Liberati’s Band. The lot was sold in 1913 for a new movie theatre that was not built. It was finally demolished in 1915.
