Located in the south of the City Centre. The building was opened in 1914. In 1939 it was remodeled in an Art Deco style and converted into the Vogue Theatre, operated by Kerridge-Odeon chain. It closed as a cinema in 1954.
Since then it has operated as a live music venue under several names: Para Rubber, Don’t Tell Mama’s, followed by gay club venues named The Staircase followed by The Case. Since 2008 it has operated as Studio the Venue.
