Everyman Stratford International

In Stratford, east London, the International Quarter masterplan was approved for developer Lendlease in 2021. The intention was to transform the area following the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The overall scheme was subsequently rebranded as Stratford Cross.

One of the key components is International Quarter London, a new commercial, residential and retail development located between Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre.

Its landmark feature, The Turing Building, was completed in summer 2024. It provides 350,000sqft of office space over 22 floors, new restaurants and a biodiverse roof terrace with panoramic views of the capital. (It is named after mathematician Alan Turing [1912-1954].)

The building’s anchor leisure tenant is the Everyman Cinema, which opened on Tuesday 17th December 2024. It occupies space on the ground and lower floors, and has an outdoor terrace and the usual bar/lounge.

Seating capacities are: Screen 1:115, Screen 2:60 and Screen 3:60. All have NEC laser projection, Dolby digital 7.1 sound, satellite and live show capabilities.

The opening day films were children’s favourites “Moana 2”, “Wicked” and “Paddington in Peru” and historical adventure “Gladiator II”.
