Located inside the Honey Creek Mall. The Honey Creek Square I & II was opened on July 29, 1970. It was operated by General Cinema Theatres. It was the first movie theatre in Terre Haut to have more than one screen. It boasted a ‘Grand’ auditorium and a small auditorium #2. In 1977 the ‘Grand ’ auditorium was divided into two screens and it was renamed Honey Creek Cinema 1, 2 & 3. On March 17, 1988 it was sold to Kerasotes Theatres. It was closed in 1993.
It was replaced at the rear of the mall by Kerasotes Theatres new Honey Creek 8 which opened on November 11, 1993 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
