The Leader Theatre dates back to March 3, 1910, in the Galveston Tribune playing the pictures “Duchard The Merchant”, “Western Chivalry” and “Bittersweet”. ‘We do no keep open Sundays but give you clean, refined, high merit pictures every weekday’.
The theatre was later listed under the management of Hulsey Theatres, operators of the Casino Theatre and Vaudette Theatre, which were listed in American Motion Picture Directory 1914-1915, complete with the addresses.
