Its opening date was March 1, 1971 with Sean Connery in “Diamonds Are Forever” & James Garner in “Skin Game”. It was first operated by Video Independent Theatres. Martin Theatres would later take over followed by Carmike afterward. It was closed on January 5, 2007.

The entire building was remodeled a few years later and became various physician and dental offices.

Contacted the library in Enid and was told that it opened on March 1st, 1971. Article and AI enhanced photo posted.
