The Rippon Record reported the opening of the Ripon Theatre on June 5, 1914, in the Moulton Building. The theater and IOOF hall were on the second floor, with shops on the ground floor.
With the 300 seats filled to capacity, the opening night movie was Herbert Rawlinson in “Won in the Clouds”, directed by Otis Turner.
Since at least 2016 it has been operating as a grill restaurant named Ripon Roadhouse.
