The Kursaal was built in 1885 and was opened as a cinema in 1910. It had a highly decorated facade, typical of the era. In later years it was operating as the Paris Cinema. It was adjacent to the Casino Cinema (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

By 2008 it had been demolished and a modern building containing a bank now stands on the site.
