Skyview Cinema I & II

The Skyview Cinema I & II at the Skyview Shopping Centre opened on March 21, 1980, on a site where the Sky View Auto Theatre once stood (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The opening movies were Sissy Spacek in “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and Steve Martin in “The Jerk”. It was first operated by East Liverpool Theaters Inc. by Thomas Anas of Weirton, WV. It was one of three movie companies that he owned.

Cinemette Corporation of America took over in 1985 and they were followed by Cinema World and finally Carmike Cinemas who closed it in the early-2000’s.

Today, O'Reilly Auto Parts operate in the building.
