The Olla Theatre opened its doors on January 9, 1941 with Deanna Durbin in “Spring Parade” (unknown if extras added). It had 350-seats. By 1950 it had been renamed New Olla Theatre with 550-seats. It was closed on May 11, 1959 after a four-day run of Charlton Heston in “The Ten Commandments”.
