This unusual airdome appears on the July 1913 Sanborn. It was entirely built from brick, including a 10 foot high wall surrounding the lot. The location was an empty lot on the 1908 map. The Princess Airdome was opened June 23, 1910. It was operated by the owners of the Princess Theatre.
Despite the expense involved in creating such a substantial outdoor theater, this was gone by 1923, replaced by a small gas station. A later Mission style Sinclair station was located here until 2016, but the site is now a gravel lot.

Polley & Cottrell of the Princess Theatre opened the Airdrome here at the corner of Seventh and Walnut for the staggering cost of $400 thanks in part to a brick veneer and metal fencing. Because Tackett’s Airdome finished first, this one went by the name of Princess Airdome to alleviate confusion. After some church services, it opened on June 23, 1910 with live acts including Great McGrath: The Upsidedown Man.
