Located in Dole, to the southeast of Dijon. Situated in the patronage of Saint-Joseph, constructed in the 20th century, the “Cinéma des Familles” was launched in October 1919.
Open from October to April, the films proposed had an excellent moral character, as the name ‘Family cinema 'indicated.
The theatre, equipped with a scenes, held a total of 400 spectators.
It was converted into a sound cinema in 1935, and it was renamed the “Foyer”.
In the 1960’s it changed it’s name again, and became the Vox until it’s closure at the end of the 1970’s.
The building has been given a modern style facade and it’s now a multi purpose theatre with exposition room and cafetaria, name La Fabrique!
