This theater was located in the northern half of what was originally known as the Schneider Block, a good sized two story brick building constructed sometime between 1898 and 1904 as a general store with a lodge hall above. That was still the arrangement in 1909.
The theater appears on the 1917 map. Unfortunately, the 1927 and 1936 maps are unavailable. If this operated into 1926, then it may have been the Regale (Regal?) listed in the Yearbook.
The original appearance is unknown. The building received a new facade sometime in the 1950’s, but the funny little dogleg in the north wall shows that it is the same structure. It was a hardware store for many years, although this recently closed.
