This theater is listed as the Community Theatre in 1926. By 1931, it is shown as closed, and called the Auditorium. It disappears from listings thereafter. This is consistent with the use of a public building for occasional showings, but no budget for a very small town to go to sound.
I believe this theatre to have been located in what appears to have been a community hall located on the east edge of the small downtown. The architecture is consistent with an early 1920’s construction date. It’s in good shape today, used by a day care and a hair salon.
