The United Cinemas Kashihara opened its doors on December 18, 2015 as a replacement of the 9-screen MOVIX Kashihara, which have closed on August 31, 2014 after a 13-year run. Like the former MOVIX, the United Cinemas Kashihara also housed 9 screens alongside 1,880 seats.
