This large theater was built sometime around 1920.The original appearance is unknown, but it was a wide two story building. Like most buildings in town, it was constructed from local limestone.

It appears in the 1926 Yearbook with a capacity of 500 seats, but this was later reduced to 450, perhaps in a remodel which occurred roughly 1945-50. As shown in some rather poor photos from 1970 on the KS historical society website, it was plastered, with either a stone or vitrolite lower facade, and a Streamline Moderne style marquee and vertical.

It was still open in 1970, but was demolished around 1996-97. That particular block is a bleak collection of vacant lots with only a few structures remaining. The address is a rough guess based on the apparent location.
