Wellington Airdome

This theater was constructed around 1909-10 by W.R. Savage, a local businessman. It was a fairly elaborate outdoor theater, with bleachers surrounding more seating in the center. There was a large stage for live acts.

Savage died sometime around 1919, and the airdome was dismantled that year. The bleachers went to the local ballpark. The 1922 map shows a church here, which was demolished in 1975 for a very strange-looking bank.
