Schoten is a small town of 34,000 inhabitants, northeast of Antwerp. It had two cinemas, the Apollon and the Cine Reo, both opened before 1940.

There was another Reo Cinema in Durne, a district of Antwerp (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Cine Reo was in activity during World War II and into the mid-1950’s, but the date of closing unknown.
