Located in the Kreuzberg district in the east of the city centre. The Apollo-Theater was opened in 1896 with 1,350-seats. It programmed variety shows and opera initially, but had become a full-time cinema by 1913 as the Apollo Kinematograph. In 1914 it was operating with 840-seats as Cines-Apollo. It was closed in 1930, possibly never being equipped for sound films.

It has been demolished and an apartment block with shops at street level now occupy the site.
