My grandparents, Jim and Muriel Merlina, operated this theatre from 1943 to 1948. I have records of yearly operations. It did hold 480 seats, and was licensed to be open from 6pm to 10:30pm daily.
Opened as the Crescent Palace Theatre either in or around 1917, not to be confused with two other theaters being named the Crescent.
