The father-and-son team of Fred and Gordon White opened the 320-seat Princess Pat Theatre on September 8, 1948. The Whites would later open their own drive-in theater nearby in August 1962. (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures). It was still open in the late-1980’s, but its closing date remains unconfirmed.
