The Millennium Entertainment Corporation transformed a vacant supermarket into Broadway Cinemas opened on May 7th, 1999, outfitting it with 10 stadium-seated auditoriums. The theater was short-lived: sluggish ticket sales led to its closure in January 2004, after which the property was redeveloped into commercial retail units.
