Theatreship

Located in the Millwall Cutting of the West India Dock in Canary Wharf in east London docklands. The Theatreship was built and launchedd in 1913 as a cargo ship transporting dry goods such as grain. It was last used in the Netherlands. It opened in early-2024 having been converted into a 90-seat cinema, theatre and performance space. There are independent films which have been screened in film festivals, and there is a mystery film every Wednesday which has free admission (the title is revealed when you arrive at the Theatreship. The Theatreship is located a 30-second walk from South Quay, Dockland Light Railway station and a 5-minute walk from Canary Wharf, Jubilee Line underground station.
