Opened on November 27, 1968 with Clint Eastwood in “Coogan’s Bluff”. It was divided into a twin on June 27, 1975, and closed for the final time on September 28, 1983 with “Nightmares” in Screen 1 and “Mr. Mom” in Screen 2, yes because of their loss at bidding wars with Showcase.
This reopened with two screens on June 27th, 1975 and closed in September 1983 after losing bidding wars with Showcase. Grand opening ad posted.

Seat counts were 425? I thought it was about 450, but if I told you 425 then , that’s what it was. It was a long time ago. I hated that theatre, badly proportioned, never should have been split, plus it was in a dead mall. I hated that town, too. What a sorry-ass place that was.

When I worked there in 1975 the address on our stationary, my business cards and the incoming mail was 3600……
