The Hi-Vue Drive-In was opened prior to 1950, when it was operated by W.G. Phillips. By 1955 it was operated by Rowley United Theatres Inc. It had a capacity for 300 cars, and 25 seats for walk-in patrons. Deserted and wind blown this one was for sale the last time that I saw it and the screen was holding up pretty well, but the concession stand was trashed. It sits outside of town on the west side. It was demolished around 2013.

When I went by the Hi-Vue a couple years back, It was in Sad shape. The “Snack Bar” was about ready to fall over. Rotting wood! It has been closed for about 30 years..

i saw “corvette summer” there great memories
Approx. address for this drive-in was 2190 Main Street.
It is to bad that drive-in cannot be reopened and start screening movies again!!!
The Hi-Vue Drive-In has vanished.
the ramps still remain!
Opened as early as 1950.
The property is now totally overgrown. The entrance is still there, although it is covered in grass. Apart from the outline, you would never know a drive-in was on the property, at least from Google Maps.
