As seen in the news for the funeral service of Tracey Morgan’s associate. Surprised to see the seating isn’t all that large since it has a very broad street presence.

They have completed some additional major renovations 2007-2010, including recreating original ceiling morals, replastering and repainting the walls and decorative featuures, new carpeting, refurbished seats, lobby renovations.

It’s not a great theater, but it’s very nice and hasn’t been overrestored, so you still feel like you’re in an old theater. The current projection/sound system is first rate; it’s a pleasure to see movies there.

Great mention of the theatre in Sunday’s New York Times Westchester Section, with nice picture. http://tinyurl.com/7hb33f

Finally the restrooms are getting a makeover. Plus, the outgoing Governor (former Peekskill Mayor) just put a heafty sum into the state budget for capital improvements.
Take a look at some photos from the theater.
