I serviced this theater up to the time it closed. The man who built Movieworks and also the Twin Cinema took it over, and they ran regular release stuff up until it closed. The entire building is made from field stone and it is quite visible in the projection room, and some areas down stairs. This theater never was converted to digita projection. Rumor has it that the Dailies for Shane were run there in 1952 while the film was in production in the area.
Closed On September 30, 2012.
looks to be a pizza joint at the moment.
Franky Londy bought this cinema from Carmike Cinemas on June 21st, 1996.

Saw “Howard the Duck” on its infamous brief run during my 1986 stopover in Jackson Hole…and I was reminded of that when I saw this pic in the NY Times recently, and it looked awfully familiar: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2011/11/07/us/SKI-1/SKI-1-articleLarge.jpg
The Teton in September 2002 – that stone facade means photos taken through the years look pretty much alike!
