Galveston PrimeTime Cinemas

Originally opened on November 25, 1998 as a seven screen but has since been completely redone and expanded into an eleven screen. It now features all stadium seating with DTS Digital sound. High back rocker seats with assistive listening devices.

The theatre is done in a tropical motif with bright alluring colors. The entrance features a triangular-shaped marquee over the entrance and has a small vertical sign above the building. The exterior is done in in multiple colors with triangles and checks like resembling Art Deco. There are columns running down the front of the building in bright yellow to set off the multi color patterns between each.

The Galveston is a very attractive and well maintained theatre. The theatre was part of Premiere Theatres and has all digital projection. In 2024 it was taken over by an independent operator and was renamed Galveston PrimeTime Cinemas and equipped with 668-recliner seats.

Please rename Galeveston PrimeTime Cinmeas and it’s an independent theatre now, Premiere Cinemas is now a previous chain.

Please correct, theatre opened on November 25, 1998, 1st display ad posted in photos section and article about the theatre also posted. Please add previous name Galveston Premiere 7 and was previous operated by Premiere Cinema Corp.
