Birmingham, Alabama, architectural firm RLS Design Group designed the Regal American Mall Stadium 16 Cinemas. The firm’s web site has two photos, and gives the seating capacity of the project as 1,926.

The old cinemas in the mall opened on May 4th, 1966 and split into two cinemas on March 19th, 1975. It closed down around 1992 and the new 12-cinema complex was opened by Regal on March 3rd, 2006. A set of four grand opening ads can be found in the photo section for this cinema.
