The Auto Theatre was a drive-in theater located in Saginaw which opened on July 1, 1948 with Groucho Marx in “Copacabana”. It was closed in 1962.
It reopened as the New Auto Drive-In on April 2, 1965 screening Frankie Avalon in “Muscle Beach Party”, Bob Cummings in “Beach Party” & Annabelle Weenick in “Under Age”. It was closed as the Auto Drive-In on September 1, 1986 with Brett Cullen in “Stewardess School” & Ted Danson in “A Fine Mess”.

Property was never developed per google street view from October of 2015. Except for the very front of the lot, where the entrance/exit roads still exist, it’s pretty much a small forest now.
The Auto Theatre opened on July 1st, 1948 and 1962. It reopened as the New Auto drive-in on April 4th. 1965.
Boxoffice, May 18, 1970: “William Wetsman has increased his holdings by the purchase of the following Ashmun theatres: … Auto Drive-In, Saginaw; Belair Drive-In, Saginaw; amd the Twilight Drive-In, Saginaw.”
Lastly known as the Auto Drive-In, and closed on September 1, 1986 with “Stewardness School” and “A Fine Mess”.
