Located in the Fremont Shopping Center the Waynesville Cinema 4 was operated by B & B Theatres at its opening in 1990. In 1993 it became a 5-screen theatre and later an 8-screen theatre. It is an orange brick building which had a large neon “Cinema 8” sign over the center entrance. There were four attraction panels on each side of the upper section next to the center entrance.
The auditoriums were small but had great sight lines. The lobby was also small like most other B & B Theatres and had a game room off to the side. It was a very well maintained and clean theatre. It was closed in 2014.

This cinema closed in 2014 when B&B opened their new Patriot 12 Cinema.
First opened with four screens under the name “Waynesville Cinema 4”. A fifth screen was added in 1993, and three more were added later in the decade.
The theater was actually located on 100 Tremont Center which now houses the Waynesville City Hall. B&B opened the theater with four screens in the early-1990s.
It was also once known as “Waynesville Cinema 5” when a fifth screen was added in 1993. The theater also needs to be added in the B&B Theatres previously-operated list.
