The Irvington Theater opened in 1925. In 1990 the theater closed its doors to the public. The building was remodeled and converted into retail space. It is now a Japanese restaurant.

Where is it located?
Yuki Japanese Restaurant is on the corner of 14th and NE Broadway, and the middle of the building is Milo’s City Cafe, an excellent place for brunch.
In previous incarnations, the building was Famous Bobs Pizza and Jamie’s (a faux-50s diner). The projection hole was visible from the dining room.
The records of architect Day Walter Hilborn list a remodeling of the Irvington Theatre as a 1938 project.
I saw “Irma la Douche” there in the early 1960s. A good presentation on a large curved screen. You don’t see many curved screens these days.
