Located in Delmar, 5 miles south of Maquoketa. The 61 Drive-In opened around 1950 with a capacity for 180 cars. In 1995 the screen was destroyed by a tornado and has been replaced. This drive-in remains open today and by April 2023 it had been renamed Voy 61 Drive-In.

Neither address (Maquoketa or Delmar) map correctly to this drive-in. The theatre is located SW of the 61/136 junction at the end of 220th Avenue (Old Hwy 61).
From their website: We are located 5 miles south of Maquoketa on Hwy 61 just off of EXIT 153. If you are using Mapquest or your GPS device the physical address is 1228 Hwy 61 … Delmar, IA 52037. This drive-in has made the conversion to digital projection.

A June 21, 2019 article in the Dubuque IA Telegraph Herald, reprinted in the San Francisco Chronicle, focused on the 61 and owner Dennis Voy, who bought the place in 1972.
