Funny, in 1980 (May), There was an ad in the sunday paper advertising Friday the 13th and it lists concordville as one of the theaters getting it the following friday, but concordville never did end up getting it at all..
Theater shown mostly the current crop of horror films that came through town in 1980.. among them
Don’t go in the house.
The shining. Friday the 13th, Zombie. He knows your alone. Silent Scream. and Prom Night.
Theater showed x rated movies on a big single screen.
I dont think it made it out of the 80’s, Was a lot of things after theater closed.. A gym and a salvation army type thrift way.
Wow, finally a listing for this theater. I got lots of ads to post on the photos section so look out for em.
Seen cocoon in summer of 85 and then seen the terrible robocop 3 in fall of 93. that was the last movie i seen there. I only seen these 2 movies here. But it showed alot of cool movies in its heyday.. Friday the 13th part 3 in 3-D Amityville 3-D. Halloween III, just so many to name.
wow, someone i use to go to school with worked there in its final season. Think they may have evne shown robocop that summer. Its funny when budco ran it in the early 80’s tons of b horror and teen sex comedys shown there. Thanks for the actual closing date and last 3 movies.. The screen was left up at least until 1995..
seems like alot of theaters turn into churchs. and sometimes ones that shown porn before..
yeah in 1981 it was still open. heres an ad for :Student Bodies" from Aug of 81..
this was 1985..

Evil Dead 2 played here in Spring of 87. right before its closing.. I think it would be the last horror movie to play here..
Lethal Weapon and some kind of wonderful played here together in March 0f 1987.
Closed in May of 87. Last 2 movies here were Gardens of stone and Blind Date…
Closed in March of 87. I think the last movie that played here was hannah and her sisters.. and star trek IV played here a week before that.
wow, intresting.. i wonder if the seats and screens are still in there??
