Whatever college it was should lose it’s accreditation since this man has worse spelling than my 1st grader.

Investigative work, HA – you can’t spell it, let alone do it!

Where is your degree from so we can check it out? If you produce that info, I will relent.

Those were organizations with VP’s of Communications…Please list a corporation Jim. Your cut and paste story will not wash here.

Let the healing begin Jim. Give up your lies.

OH MY GOSH!! I spelled EXISTANT wrong!! My bad!! I’M SOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!!

Oh, and the reason that letter said YOU instead of YOUR is because in my rush to bring you the wonderful news I cut and pasted too quick and dropped the first few words (and part of another. I promise it will never happen again…Now when are we going to see that “disgusting” e-mail? (I know the asnwer, as soon as you make it up, just like you made up that fake police story, how FUNNY!!!)

Jim who? Is there a LAW stating that “No company shall give an employee a title without approval from the Puzan family”?? I’m still waiting for the name of the officer (please don’t use Smith or Jones) as well as an incident number. Here are some fine examples of a “non-esistant” position…
The Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie H. Crudele as Vice President of Communications…
Rodney Walker is Vice President of Communications for the Children’s Scholarship Fund…
NEW YORK, September 9, 2004 â€" Ms. Ellena Friedman has been appointed Vice President of Communications at the not-for-profit International…
Health industry veteran Michael Ford has been named vice president of communications for the National Community Pharmacists Association …
My my there are A LOT of people running around with NON-EXISTANT POSITIONS… Communications falls under MARKETING, by the way…

Try not to post the same inane message twice, we laughed enough the first time.

Oh, I have a degree in criminal justice, so investagitive work is a treat for me…

P.S. I was in Lombard ALL DAY, had lunch at the Grove!

I also love the idea that a VP of Communications would make spelling errors in a formal letter of interest. “We received you letter regarding the Dupage..”

This is the great preservationist Jim Devitt at work people. I hope you are proud to have him on your side.

Jim,
My husband read the obviously fake letter from ABC Corporation. He immediatly noticed the title of the person that allegedly wrote it. Vice-President of Communications is a non-existent position in corporate America. Communications falls under the umbrella of the VP of Human Resources. Communications Director is the title given. Never has he seen a Communications VP on the staff of any company.

Stop! This is too funny!

This is funny…Nice letter from ABC corporation. Who did you get to check the spelling for you after you penned it . You have had a busy day my Friend, what with conducting a vandalism investigation, driving to Lombard, writing bogus letters and e-mails, holding fake message board conversations(REDRUM, REDRUM)….You are an amazing man Jim!

I just sent a quick e-mail to my longtime friend who is a Detective on the Lombard force to find out if any such inquiries were made. Did you tell them you live in Woodridge when you stopped by? I suspect, as usual, you are a liar and fraud.

An incident did occur on Charlotte Street but was not reported because no damage occured. Some idiot, who has no life, threw a few purple flyers in a neighbors yard late at night. Can you imagine? Someone who is so pathetic that he has nothing better to do with his time than that? What a loser! The joke’s on him though because it was windy that night and all the flyers blew into the only neighborhood yard that had a theatre sign. You can’t imagine the laughs we all shared over that blunder! Buffoon!

No, I admitted a trip to the police station netted NO INVESTIGATIONS, SO YET ANOTHER LIE BY YOU!!! Where’s the alleged e-mail? Where is it? What is the case number and the officer’s name?

TrueClass

More progress…You’ve admitted you are Jim DeVitt…..Baby steps to your recovery….baby steps. I will not post anything on this site per the officer we spoke with.

Now True Class(less) is trying to play nice—what a joke! By the way, a quick trip to the police station today showed NO investiagation of ANY sort on Charlotte Street, so apparently YOU LIED (again). Where'e the “disgusting” e-mail? If it was forwarded to you, and you had NO PROBLEM posting the other ones I ALLEGEDLY sent, then why not that one? Several other people also asked for it to be posted, and nothing. Wanna know ? IT DOESN’T EXIST!!!

Elgin State Mental Hospital still exists however, maybe you and Defino can share a cell there, he’s just as delusional as you are, althought you haven’t challenged anyone to a street match like he did…

I can still taste the Top Dog hot dogs…the best. It was always packed when my friends and I would go there during lunch break from Lincoln School and Sweet Granny’s – YUM. When you saw that bucket on the counter instead of Mom hovering over the stove, you knew it was going to be a great night!

The only business I can remember in the Hobby Lobby building was Handy Andy.

Old timer test 2….Can you name at least four retailers that have occupied the space now home to Hobby Lobby on Main Street? What was the two minute claim to fame at Art & Vis' in the theatre building? Where was the second Mr Z location when they were still in the 700 block of South Main? There was once an “air strip” in Lombard…remember where? What was the name of the first “new” retailer to occupy the building built on that old air strip site? And name the others that have occupied it since.

Trivia question:

What business was located where That’s N Ice is during the early 1970’s?

Hint – Food of some type.

TrueClass
TrueClass on October 25, 2005 at 12:52 pm

What Lombard really needs is to bring back Top Dog and Sweet Granny’s Chicken and Pizza. Both were located on Park Ave. near Punky’s. Best food anywhere.

We also had 5 grocery stores in town during the late 60’s. Jewel was located where Praga is. Centrella was located next to Lom Ling. Dutch Kitchen liquors was a grocer (called Dutch Kitchen), the current Mr. Z was National Foods and Mr. Z was located where Walgreens is.

I still remember the day when they were excavating the Brust property for what is now the “new” addition to the funeral home. All work came to a halt because the excavators were finding human limbs in the ground (skeletal remains). We stood there and watched as the coroners dept came and collected them. It turned out that the Brust house (which is now hidden by the new building) was the office for Lombard’s first surgeon. Apparently he was disposing of the limbs from the amputations he performed by burying them in his yard. Apparently amputations were the norm back then because there must have been a dozen arms and legs that they recovered. I’ll never forget that day.

It was in those days when Lombard had an all volunteer fire dept.
The filling station on main and st.charles was then Watson’s Filling station. If I remember correctly, either the owner or one of the mechanics
was fire captain or chief.I used to see him at the theatre quite often. When the fire siren blew he was outta there fast.
