Between the screen and the wooden fence, drivers would enter from Waterloo Rd and queue at the entrance. There were booths which looked similar to a tool booth on the Harbour Bridge.</p> <p>Note that each field had a projection box consisting of two movie projectors and one slide projector. Occasionally the Venetian blind were open and you could see “Century” on the movie projector. The cooling system appeared to have a bubbling device behind the arc lamp. I also recalled 19" racks behind the projector with red lamps.</p>
  • <p>This was taken in Waterloo Rd in the direction of Greenacre.</p> <p>Notice the ‘famous’ tall towering sign'</p> <p>The centre building is the combined restaurant ‘Dine In’, covered seating area and an amusement section.</p> <p>Behind is field 2’s screen. I recall below the screen there was a green border which almost touched the ground. I believe that was to stop the light from field 2’s projection booth annoying the residents living in Norfolk Rd.</p>
