Empire Theatre, Leicester Square - Façade to Leicester Square - No “Banners.”

Following a rejected planning application to replace all three banner adverts–example–have been removed.

According to the “DELEGATED REPORT” written to inform the outcome of the planning application, these were never approved.

The “rods” either side of the portico which held two of the banners can be seen; less obvious in the downsampled version of the photo uploaded is the “making good” work needed behind and above where the upper/wide banner was situated.
