Bert Ram would rush the completion of the Patricia Theater after his State Theatre burned down. And to get as many people from Aiken in and out of the Patricia on opening day, he did a grindhouse approach to playing “Breaking the Ice” over and over and over again on opening day beginning at 1p and ending after midnight.
