In Akron, the Dreamland was a nickelodeon-era innovator in motion pictures and then was joined by the Waldorf which would be just two doors down and a live theater. But it would switch soon to movies and then the giant Keith-Albee Palace Theater would become a neighbor ending the dreams of the soon obsolete Dreamland.
