  • <p>Picture is courtesy of Cheryl Antoszewski showing her mom Carolyn Hoge Pietrzak at the Miracle Mile Drive-In, Toledo, Ohio.  She worked in the concession stand in the summer of 1956, baking pizzas at the concession stand for Aunt Phyllis Ann and Uncle Dominici D’Lelles.</p>
  • <p>The Lincoln Drive-In Theatre had just opened on January 21, 1953 for African American patrons but that policy was scratched after the April 27, 1953 and the theater was closed. It would reboot as the Starlite with a new policy that the locals would react more favorably to.</p>
