Joe Vogel (comment July 9, 2009 last paragraph) is correct about the location. A community theater group used the building for stage plays for several years before it was demolished.

The address was 310 Ouellette Avenue. A new multi-screen theatre was opened on the site in 1987; it closed January 2012.

The City of Windsor now owns the property. As of February 2012, it is to be modified to become the home of the Windsor Symphony, as well as keeping live theatre for community groups. It was heritage designated by the City in 1999. Walkerville Collegiate High School just completed a record-setting 17 sold-out performances of Phantom of the Opera there.

This building was demolished about 2002-03. The location was 2771 Whelpton St (formerly named Charles, not the current Charles).
