The huge 46'x40' poster was erected on the front of the Warner Theatre at midnight of the day before the premiere. It was ordered to be removed immediately by Westminster City Council as it was considered to be a hazard.
The Warner Theatre hosted the World Premiere of “Privilege” on 28th April 1967 (minus the poster!). Attended by Peter Watkins, Paul Jones, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Trevor Howard, Helen Cherry, Hughie Green Wolf Mankowitz, Christopher Plummer and Michael Medwin.
