My brother and I would spend every Saturday here at the Wallace & Ladmo show, eating candy, hoping to get a prize and watching the movies after the show.
I remember the Gayety theater. My mother was a burlesque dancer there. I was young and would sit in the changing area. Those women were beautiful & funny. I watched them hand stitch beads onto their costumes. After a while it became the Paris and my mother stopped taking me with her to work. It wasn’t long before she quit the Paris and took a job elsewhere.

This is where I saw all the Disney movies. Our family loved this theater.
Our family loved going to the Silver Dollar for the double features. Some of my best childhood memories are of this theater.
