  • <p>This 1982 photo by John Margolies is in a special collection of his work at the <a href="https://www.loc.gov/item/2017708224/">Library of Congress</a> and is effectively in the public domain.</p> <p>As I type, the LoC has mislabeled the photo as the Trail of Amarillo, which was obviously wrong for several reasons. It’s such a perfect match for MartyNearDFW’s photo that I’d say it was actually a picture of the Athens Trail.</p>
