•
Alamo Drafthouse New Mission Theatre SF CA is the only movie theatre in Northern CA showing the 70mm blow up of Mr Tarantino’s new film ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’. Check It out and see It on their big scope screen with curtains.

 •
Set up for ‘Once In A Time In Hollywood’ shown on 70mm film in the large Theatre#1 space.

 •
Thanks to Jason the IA union projectionist on duty for the exclusive San Francisco run of Tarantino’s new movie shown in 70mm. He did a great job with the reel changeovers and no lines on the print after a week of showings. Many weekend shows are sold out.

 •
We hope they can get their blue bulbs working on the curtain some day.

 •
You won’t find any other cinema in San Francisco with such a great collection of old movie posters in the lobby and upstairs lounges. Both original one sheets plus 3 sheets and Europe size posters are on display.

 •
Because of a Bruce Lee type person in the new 70mm Tarantino Hollywood movie playing they have a ton of Bruce Lee posters up in the lobby.

 •
Check out the remodeled main lobby of the New Mission with great movie posters on the walls.

 •
My favorite poster in the whole theatre lobby and in great shape.

 •
Upstairs has 4 more cinemas with more movie posters and pinball games.

 •
Check out these deco sofas they have in the lobby.

 •
You won’t find any other cinema in SF with such a nice long lobby to greet you when you come to see a movie. Thanks ‘Tim League’ at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas for saving this long closed old SF theatre for a new generation to enjoy in San Francisco!

 •
They took out the nice red bulbs and put in white lights in the bar area. Time to change to blue?

 •
Like so many theatres with marquess they are not changing the letters anymore? To bad they did not put a big 70mm up for the film now playing ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’. Many people say Its a safety issue but they do make a plastic letter pole so you don’t have to climb a ladder. Thousands of people go buy this huge neon marquee daily and they have no idea what is playing inside! At least the two side boards are not out front on the busy street.

 •
So nice to see lighted movie posters with all the times listed. No more boxoffice, most people get their reserved seats on line these days. They do have a small ticket purchase booth inside on the left side. They also sell great DVD’s and records along with movie related shirts and novelties in the lobby. Stop by If you are San Francisco and see how great this old cinema looks these days all fixed up!
