I can’t find any officially announcements online with the schedule for the 50th Anniversary Screenings of 2001: A Space Odyssey in May. Since this is where it all started, I’d love to make the pilgrimage to DC and see it here. I haven’t reached out to AMC directly…does anyone on this forum have any intel?
Just got back from Fantastic Beasts in the newly renovated IMAX. The aforementioned lines on the screen are a problem. Super distracting, especially in the brightest scenes. Also, something wonky happened with the audio towards the beginning of the third act of the film. Anyone else notice this? Really terrible muddy dialogue; not sure if this is a fault of the audio track in the actual film, or maybe something went wrong with some of the speakers. I was really looking forward to having this theater open again, and it was a disappointing first experience back. Hopefully these issues can be fixed.
