Saw many movies at AMC Tiffany Square during the 1980s and early 90s. This mall was trying to be a luxury high-end-ish mall that never achieved critical mass. At the opening it was filled to maybe 25% retail occupancy and went down from there over the next year or so.

Within short order all the stores had fled except for the movie theatre and one or two restaurants in the food court.

So this was basically an abandoned luxury mall with marble and brass railings BUT with an operating movie theatre. It was a fun place to run around!

Eventually MCI took over the top half and turned it into corporate offices & their telemarking call center, but the bottom was still abandoned (except for the theatre and one remaining food court shop).

Still, it was the best deal for first-run movie theatre ticket prices in town, so I loved the place!

Anyone remember when it became a Spanish-language only theatre for like 5 minutes? (ok maybe a year) in the early 2000s?

Last film I saw at Cinema 70 was South Park in 1999. I still have my unopened box of Cheesy Poofs given out opening night!

I remember one time they had a Star Trek film fest there showing IV, V, and VI back to back and a few vendor booths.

This theatre was truly epic.

I saw the Lion King there at the Aircadia as well in 1994! This was the last Drive-In movie I ever saw.
