It’s May 12, 1950 and time for the Hi-Land Drive-In Theatre to launch just to the west of the Estherville, Iowa city limits. And “The Spoilers” wouldn’t have been a bad place to begin but mother nature practically ruined things with a massive storm that ravaged the theater.
