To all that remember the empress and the other movie houses from the uptown to 181street … I always remember the empress and spending many a Saturday afternoon with friends,and family.I remember the clock on the left of the screen,and the candy and popcorn back left from the stage at the end of the seats.You could see three movies,and other short subject favorites.The one thing I cannot forget is the song they played between movies…enjoy yourself it’s later then you think.
