Louis Frederick Casavant: born December 20, 1868,died February 21,1936 was a bass vocalist of Broadway operas and operettas. Career years active(1890to1934).He was in the first production of"Robin Hood" as Will Scarlet an opera/comedy by Reginald DeKoven and Harry B.Smith,produced by the Bostonians at the Chicago Opera House,June 9th,1890 to June 15th,1890.Highlights of his career"Red Feather",“Louie The 14th”,“The Princess Pat”,“The Riviera Girl”,and"My Maryland". His name has been misspelled in credits and news articles as “Cassavant”.
